With all the advertising on TV these days, you’d think every man in America has ED.
Not so fast kemo sabe. Let’s take a closer look at what is really going on.
If by ED you mean having trouble with getting and keeping an erection…then every man over 40 does have ED. Because virtually every man over 40 will have at least one time when they have trouble getting or keeping it up.
But don’t panic, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have ED. You might just be distracted and/or worried about what’s going on in the rest of your life: ornery teenagers giving you fits, a bout of the flu, money problems, a fight with your wife, aging parents, trouble at work.
Any one of these transitory events can affect your abilities in the bedroom. Leading to all kinds of troubles.
But it doesn’t mean you have ED.
Think about it…
- If you can more often than not have an erection when you want to…
- If you enjoy making love and having intercourse most of the time
- If you feel close and emotionally connected to your partner when making love
- If you’re both usually satisfied when you make love
You don’t have ED!
Or at least what most people would consider ED.
Life is not an X-rated movie or a romance novel.
It’s just life.
That means sometimes making love will be wonderful.
Sometimes it will be miserable.
And most of the time it will be good enough.
As my grammy used to say, getting your panties in a twist over it isn’t going make it better. So relax, lie back and remember even Barry Bonds couldn’t hit a home run every time. What makes you think you can?
Or should?
